The Nervous Driving Test

"Wow is this the car I'm going to drive?" The car had professional flames on the front and the colour was a dark, pitch black. When I got in the AMAZING car, I sat on the really comfortable seats and the steering wheel had great grip. Finally the moment that I had been waiting for... the Instructor gave me the keys. I was getting over excited, luckily I calmed down and put the key in the keyhole and drove out of the carpark and out of the driveway! I was doing great and having a good time. Suddenly I drove past a red light! Lucky I didn't crash into other cars... I thought my dream was over for getting a license, but it looked like the Instructor didn't notice. I wanted her to get her mind on something else so I stopped at he beach and I bought her some KFC. I didn't think she expected it. She looked surprised and happy so we got in the AWESOME car and headed for the carpark. The car was running smoothly BANG!! "What happened?" I questioned. "Something is wrong with the engine PULL OVER!" shouted the Instructor. I panicked and pulled over. It looked like the fuel was empty so we just made it to the Shell garage. I had to pay for it but I was relieved that we made it into the carpark. We went in the building - I was sooo worried. I was waiting and waiting then the Instructor came out of her office and said "Well done you now have a permit license." I was so, so happy that I got my license and the picture came out GREAT!!!

Animations

We are doing animations. once you have finished the animation it looks really cool/awesome me and my animation group are still working on our animation it looks cool/awesome. To make the animation you can use Lego Clay nearly everything our class used Lego so you make the Scene with the Lego. You need a camera so you can take pictures. So you take a picture then move the Lego a tinny bit then take another piture and do that for a long time until you have at least 100 pictures then you can download the pictures on to a programme called scratch. On that you can edit the pictures to make them move better. By that time it would if been a week but it is worth it. from Logan

Mask Parade

In term three room 4 started to make some masks for the mask parade. We all made animal masks. First we got a balloon and blew it up. Next we got some newspaper and ripped it into squares and dipped it into glue then stuck it onto the balloon. After we had done about five layers we let it dry for two days, then we cut the balloons in half and added noses and ears using foam packing. Later we started to paint our masks the colour of the animal we wanted it to be. On the day the of the mask parade Mr Harris cut eye holes in our masks and put the elastic on. Then at five thirty the whole school and many others were dressed up in costumes matching their masks. There were so many people there at Montgomery carpark! Then we marched down Trafalgar square and there were thousands of people watching us!!

Soccer Skills With The Soccer coach Jordan

On Wednesday Jordan the soccer coach showed us some soccer skills and some soccer games. One game people had to knock other peoples balls out then they would have to go and get it. And the other game was like sea weed but soccer. The rules were, you had to kick the ball at someones legs then you would have to just stand there. Then the people that were not in would have to kick the ball under their legs then the people who were in will not be in anymore. Then the tagers would have to get them in again. I had fun on Wednesday. So did all friends, some of the soccer skills jordan taught us, was to juggle and another was to juggle on our knees and heads and there were lots of colored balls. Some were black and gold some were green and white and some were blue and white. The main thing was that I had lots of fun on Wednesday.

Jordans fab soccer skills

"Go!" Jordan yelled as Room 4 dribbled the soccer balls down the wet, green field. A lot of people fell over on the slipppery mud. We did some dribbling and we played some soccer tag and Jordan was great at teaching us. I think soccer is really cool and having Jordan was a great experience.
Now for all the people who like soccer here are a few games.
Game 1: Soccer Tag: A few people are the taggers and the rest run away dribbling their soccer balls and if the taggers ball touches you, you're in!
Game 2: This game does not have a name but this how it goes: Everyone is dribbling their balls but you have to be careful and keep your ball under contol because the aim of the game is to kick the other player's ball out of the box you are playing in. And if your ball gets kicked out grab it and take it to the nearest corner and do some juggling skills.
So there are a couple games for you to try out.

The Mural

Yesterday we started doing a mural. It was really fun because we did painting. A lot of us got paint all over our clothes. (Art shirts) Then we took pictures of our heads to our necks. Next we stuck our pictures of our heads onto a piece of paper and drew a body for our heads. Lastly we cut it out and stuck it on to the mural. Most of us are finished.
