We have to put compost around the bean plant so it grows healthy. I learnt that if you let the beans grow too big, they dry out but then you can use the seeds to plant another bean plant.
First it starts from the seed then it grows a little bit and then it gets flowers and then the beans come up and you can eat them. If it is a runner bean it runs up the post and it needs sun and water to survive. By Emma
I leant that the flowers pop open and they turn into the bean. You put a bamboo stick in the ground and then the plant grows up it. The beans can grow really long, but they dont taste as nice when they are really really long. We can take the beans home once they have grown. I love beans. I learn that you can dry the beans out and use them to plant the next year. By Hannah
