Jesus died on the cross

Room 4 learned what Jesus did when he died on the cross.He saved us from our sins. If we believe in him and follow him we will go to heaven. We had flat bread. We dipped parsley in salt water. We had a lamb cake. We had grape juice with lemonade.by Bethany.

Museum Trip

On Friday 15/3/13 The whole school went to the Nelson Museum. We studied Giant Native Snails we learnt what the predators are of the snails. They are possums, Wild Cats, birds, Wekas and Wild Pigs. I forgot the rest!!! Our Museum teacher said we were excellent!!!  By Keegan

 I liked the big shells and seeing the snail eating the worm. I had lots of fun and  Nicky said  we made her day because of how well we behaved and the good questions we asked. we also saw some sea snails in a fish tank and there were two prawns and half a dozen mussels By Josh

Speaking with Hands

Room 4 is learning sign language; how cool. In sign language we learn colors, feelings and some words that mean to do something with our hands; awesome!By Griffin

MY PUPPY GEORGE

This is my puppy called George. He is 9 weeks old. He is a Jack Russell crossed with a Beishon. He went to every class in the school but he didn't like it because he was getting picked up by everyone.He is playful, cute and cuddly. When he got home our other dog Jack got very jealous because George had all the attention.He got very tired and sleepy so he went home.

Swimming Sports at Nayland

At Nayland pool I done swimming sports and so did others I came first in freestyle one length, first in backstroke two widths and third in breaststroke two widths. It was AWESOME! By Timoci

It was fun. It hurt a little bit when you fell in to the water because you hit it hard. Then we floated on our backs to the shallow end. I'd like to do it again. By Seth

Yay!! Swimming Lessons have started!!

 

 Swimming !

I went swimming at the wave rave it was like the waves were chasing me. My swimming was fun. I did free- style and the eighth meter challenge. The people in my swimming were my sister Grace, Abbey, Hannah,  Sophie and Pershia. When we were cold we hopped out of the pool and went to  the play ground.
