On the Friday of Maori language week spent the whole day doing Harakeke, Kowhaiwhai patterns, making Rakau Sticks and Poi. It was great. Danielle's favorite was poi making. Esther's was Harakeke. Leroy also enjoyed Harakeke, and Nicholas liked the Kowhaiwhai patterns. Caitlyn and Kyla liked the Rakau sticks because you got to decorate them yourself.
